My gratitude and thanks to Dr Sara is immeasurable. Her incredible precious gift of healing the human body is nothing less than miraculous. I am living proof of that. I fully trust and believe 1000,000% in Dr Sara... 5 years ago I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. Thanks to this Auto-Immune Dis-ease, I had already started to make tremendous changes to my eating habits and exercise routine. I met Dr Sara, at one of her lectures and immediately knew THIS Modality and Healing Practice was for me. I have a needle phobia so I don't like going to the doctor! The intense pain in my hands and feet have almost entirely disappeared. I have tried so many therapies for neuropathy, and none have worked. I started seeing Dr. Sara Schaefer at the beginning of this year to help manage debilitating symptoms from autoimmune conditions that had deeply affected my quality of life. After trying everything from conventional medicine to alternative protocols over the last decade with very limited results, I was honestly skeptical but open. From the first virtual session, I could tell her work was on a completely different level. I came to Sara when my body was at it's lower point. I had been diagnosed with high Methane SIBO 2 years ago and after several rounds of antibiotics still could not get a handle on my gut issues. I had chronic diarhhea, gas, bloating and could barely leave my house due to frequent accidents. I was on daily anti diarhhea medications. I spoke with several different gastro doctors to no avail. I cannot recommend Dr Sara Schaefer highly enough. I have been working with her for over a year now and can hardly remember the state I was in that I describe below. I was on antidepressants for 25 years. They enabled me to hold down teaching jobs and support my children during that time, until they did not work anymore. The new meds were so prohibitively expensive that I was obliged to try other healing modalities such as homeopathy and I managed to titrate off all the antidepressants with their help. However, the issues of anxiety, depression, and a nervous breakdown that had necessitated me taking antidepressants in the first place had not disappeared. I tried acupuncture with two different practitioners and while their recommended changes in diet helped a little (no dairy, wheat, peanut butter and coffee), I asked Sara if she could help me. The most obvious issues that I brought to Sara were –bouts of depression, concern about anger and irritability, life-long digestive issues, tiredness and lethargy, and an inability to focus. I seemed to be in a constant state of fight or flight, overly reactive to perceived slights, impatient and always a little irritable. Sara initially tested me for nutrient absorption and found that I was not adequately absorbing nutrients from my diet alone. She tested me for things like toxins, allergies, heavy metals and she would somehow get my body to eliminate whatever she found. For example, she found high aluminum in my system that had directed my body’s energy away from normal healthy functioning. Little by little I have found my energy returning and Sara has found that my body is more readily absorbing nutrients as well. Sara also treats me with Bach Flower essences and these have been hugely helpful with related emotional issues. At this time, I am not on any meds whatsoever, and the only things I ingest are vitamins and a good diet recommended by Sara.

I’m incredibly happy to report that in the weeks since my my virtual session with Dr. Sara, I have been living chronic pain free. I didn't know what to expect upon my first visit with Sara. First off she immediately put me at ease with her knowledge and explanation of things. She also really listens to what you say and not only your words but what your body is asking for and needing. I was completely blown away. As is typical of miracles, Sara came into my life at the perfect time. I encountered her work after having gone through a severe health crisis dealing with a muscular dystrophy autoimmune condition. I've never done anything like this before and it’s been nothing short of a miracle for me. I’ve had blockages in my energy body for years from various traumas. I was going through life with a smile on the outside but not feeling it inside. I’d lost my natural exuberance for life. Chalked it up to getting older, post cancer treatment after effects and a beat up thyroid. Through the work with Sara I actually feel the life force flowing again. Like the spigot has been unclogged! And it’s not what she “did” to me. She asked my body what it needed then facilitated the blockages to be released.

Dr. Sara’s work is as remarkable as her personality is infectious. Through the subtlest of touch – a tap of the shoulder, a lift of the neck – she holds conversation with the deepest parts of your being. By the end of our first session, I felt more grounded than I had in weeks, and my shoulder – which has been a consistent source of discomfort and tension for me – was virtually pain-free. The experience is as emotional as it is physical, and her gentle processing with me at the end of our sessions has been instrumental in consolidating the insights that have arisen in the course of our sessions. There are some things that simply cannot be worked through either with traditional medicine or talk therapy (and I’m saying this as a psychotherapist).
